2010 Enduro Rules – EVS
 
 1.        Street cars only ( four (4) six (6) or eight (8) cylinder ).  No trucks allowed.
 
 2.        Seat belts & shoulder harness are both required.
            Factory stock allowed, but after-market racing belts are encouraged.

 3.        All glass including mirrors must be removed.
            All trim, chrome, etc. must be removed.
            All lights must be removed.
            Mesh should be securely mounted in place of windshield.

 4.        Roll Bar will not be required, but up to a four point cage is allowed.

 5.        Stock seat allowed.  MUST HAVE HOOP BEHIND SEAT & DOOR BAR !!

 6.        No altering of suspension.  Cars may be asked to run either direction on track.

 7.        Only stock, OEM steel and aluminum wheels.  Must be stock or OEM !
            Tires must be designed for road use only.

 8.        No passengers allowed.

 9.        Driver door must be welded closed. 
            All other doors and hood must be chained or welded.
            ALL HOOD LATCHES MUST BE DISABLED.
            Holes can be cut to run chains through.
            Up to a 12” hole may be cut in hood for the purpose of holding a fire extinguisher.
            No other holes allowed.

10.       Stock bumpers for make and model.  Bumpers may be welded. No excess welding.
            NO material of any kind may be added on bumpers, frame or anywhere else on car.

11.       Battery may be moved, but must be in enclosed battery box and securely mounted.

12.       One radiator per car and must be in stock location.

13.       No reinforcing, cutting apart, welding or modification of any part on car except
            as specified above.

14.       No high performance parts allowed.  No high performance intakes, carbs,
            headers, etc.  MOTOR MUST BE STOCK.

15.       No radio communication allowed.

16.       All drivers must be 18 years of age or older.

17.       Gas tanks located above or in front of rear end do not have to be relocated and must
            be chained with one (1) inch minimum width chain.  Relocated tanks in trunk area
            may be plastic or metal marine tanks and must be covered and securely fastened.
            Gas spouts may not extend past body of car.

18.       Each car must provide another person to do lap counting.
            This person will have the responsibility of watching your car only.
            This person must also attend the driver meeting prior to the race.

                        Any areas not covered in the rules shall be left up to the discretion
                        of the officials.  Officials reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.
                        Following the race - the top ten ( 10 )  will be inspected.
                        Any car found not meeting or not within rules specifications will be
                        disqualified and will forfeit all money.
                       
NO OFFICIAL RESULTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AND NO
                        POSITIONS WILL BE PAID UNTIL AFTER INSPECTIONS
                        ARE COMPLETED.  All decisions are final.
 
 

 

If a car stalls on the track, the yellow flag will come out and the driver will exit the car with
help from a corner worker.  The car remains on the racing surface until the end of the race.

After 1 hour of racing has been completed, we will take a 15-minute intermission.

If only 5 cars are left running and the 2 hours / 200 lap time limit has not been reached,
a yellow flag will be thrown.  The remaining drivers will race for 5 minutes to determine
the winner.
